Section Events

Each year ADR Section Leaders and Committees turn their minds to providing members with specific areas of interest with thought-provoking learning opportunities.

Sections include: Workplace, Construction, Group Facilitation, Restorative Justice, Family.

Please note that the dial-in feature is available to members only. Non-members are welcome to attend in person up to 3 sessions per year.

ADR Institute of Ontario Family Interest Section Presents: "Ages and Stages... The Effects of Separation and Divorce on Children and Youth"

Speaker: Dr. Helen Radovanovic, C.Psych., "Family Solutions", Toronto

A respected Parenting Coordinator and Mediator/Arbitrator, Dr. Radovanovic will focus her talk on the effects on and needs of toddlers to youth when faced with the trauma of their parents’ separation and/or divorce. Dr. Radovanovic will also address resources for the Mediator to turn to educate themselves and find support for their clients.
Dr. Helen Radovanovic, C.Psych.

Dr. Helen Radovanovic is a registered psychologist in private practice and has been with Toronto-based "Family Solutions" since its inception. Dr. Radovanovic graduated from York University in Toronto in 1990 with a Ph.D. in Developmental-Clinical Psychology. Her practice includes child, adult, parent, marital/couple and family counseling around general and divorce-specific issues. Dr. Radovanovic also provides specialized services in consulting, mediation, mediation/arbitration, parenting coordination, and parenting plan assessments for separated/divorced families.

Dr. Radovanovic was formerly an Assistant Professor with the Department of Psychiatry, University of Toronto, and staff psychologist at the Family Court Clinic, Centre for Addiction and Mental Health. She has provided education and training for mental health interns and mental health agencies, conducted research, published in peer-reviewed journals and presented extensively at professional conferences on high-conflict separated families.
